He also held a number of manufacturing management positions, corporate director of education, and corporate planning and marketing manager. He developed a strategic planning program, and worked with Mr. Larry Appley at Barber-Colman to implement a Manager Resource Planning Program. The two co-authored a book titled Manager Manpower Planning.
Mr. Irons’ work in the international field has included license and acquisition activities as well as marketing. These travels have taken him to South America and Europe. He has Bachelors and Masters degrees from Illinois State University. He has taught professional management for a number of organizations, and serves as a director for a number of profit and not-for-profit organizations.
